Eagle's Marlin Series trailers are designed for freshwater or saltwater use. These trailers combine maximum corrosion resistance with the rugged construction and high profile aesthetics typical of all Eagle Trailers. Frames are welded and then galvanized with a hot-dip galvanized finish inside and out, for a thick coating that is extremely resistant to saltwater. Competitive galvanized frames are usually mechanically fastened together, and may feature a electroplated coating which is far less durable than the Eagle's hot-dipped galvanized finish.
On our most popular Marlin Series models, we offer independent suspension rubber torsion axles, which are engineered with hot-dipped galvanized tubing and feature sate-of-the art bearing protection. With galvanized directional steel wheels, powder coated brake-backing plates and color matched composite fiberglass fender/step assemblies on many models, Marlin trailers deliver performance and maintain their appearance under the most demanding marine conditions.
Custom colors and carpets can make the Marlin Series the best looking galvanized trailers on the market. Poplar options include aluminum mag rims and brake flush kits.
*Rubber Torsion Axles are standard on trailers with 13" and 14" wheels with standard size frames, all others will have springs.
